Radio
Digitalisation of Broadcasting (TV and radio) is taking long strides.
Radio is going digital too!
The Australian Communications and Media Authority are looking at a permanent digital radio services and it is expected to commence from 1 January 2009. Digital transmission of short, medium and long wave will be named as DRM (Digital Radio Module).
DAB (Digital Audio Broadcast) is already on air, providing over 100 programs and will eventually replace FM. To receive the digital broadcast program new devices need to be developed and distributed. STARS Installations are keeping in touch with the latest technology and will provide you with the new developments.
